Through Another’s Eyes: An Interview With Michael Clay Thompson

In March 2000, I accidentally walked into a lecture that Michael Clay Thompson was giving at the National Curriculum Networking Conference in Williamsburg, VA. As Thompson discussed poetry and how to make it more accessible to students, his face lit up and I could see the entire crowd nodding. As someone first treading in the stream of gifted education, I was not yet familiar with the scholars in the field.
